Idle comments about the things I do, notice, attempt, or think about. Everything written by a human. I make no promises about its accuracy or completeness, but the thoughts are mine.
Hi guys, 👋
I'm Hamish, a dad of two, open-source orientated with a fondness for good urban design. I love to travel by pretty much any means, ski's, bikes, cars, trains, planes, and the good old waiwai express. I live in Wellington, New Zealand. By day I'm a platform engineer, mostly writing in Python, and playing with large Kubernetes clusters and Open Tofu repositories. I'm fond of technology, but generally only when it's privacy respecting, which appears to mean I'm becoming more and more of a luddite when it comes to more modern technology releases.
My thoughts are my own etc.
